Awesome: A College Student Who Has Been Going Viral for Wearing Jerseys to Class All Semester Got a Year's Worth of New Jerseys From Fanatics

If you aren't familiar with Jersey Guy at the University of Nebraska, you're probably not chronically online, so congratulations for that. But if you have been following along, then you know about one of the legends of the internet for the last few months.

This guy has worn a different jersey to his 9:30 a.m. geography class every week for the entire fall semester and another kid in the class started posting each one to increasing fanfare. You never knew what Jersey Guy was going to walk into class wearing next. Some were classics, some were guys so obscure I'm confident Jersey Guy might be the only person in the country who owns them. But that's the beauty of Jersey Guy.

And then, on what I presume is the last day of class, a Christmas miracle happened. Fanatics gave Jersey Guy a year's worth of new jerseys so he can keep this going all of 2025 without ever having to double up.

I know everyone hates Fanatics for a multitude of reasons — fucking up the MLB uniforms, having generally terrible customer service, consistently sending out incorrect orders — but they did right by Jersey Guy and that's a W that I hope everyone can get behind. It's Christmas.
