Dustin Jacoby Sends Vitor Petrino To The Shadow Realm On The Final UFC Card Of The Year
Like I said earlier - this is the final UFC card of the year, and we're going out with a BANG!!! What a knockout!!! Shadow realmed!!!
It wasn't the most entertaining slobberknocker of a fight leading up to that final blow, but my god; all is forgiven when you finish a fight like that! It almost looked like the shot that Kamaru Usman put Jorge Masvidal out with, didn't it? Vitor Petrino dropped in a very similar way....
This was a massive win for Jacoby as an underdog and a huge bounce back to close out the year; I'm excited for what 2025 could hold for him! As I've mentioned in the past, he's a friend of the program who prides himself on being the best golfer in the UFC and even competes in the Barstool Classic - he's done four straight now!
It was tough to see Jacoby get knocked out by Dominick Reyes earlier this year, and I'll admit I was a bit worried for him tonight considering that was only about six months ago - but clearly he knew what he was doing….and he's got a tee time in Tampa tomorrow! Awesome stuff. Congrats to Jacoby on the big win. We'll have to get him back on Spinnin Backfist soon.
Only three more UFC fights left in 2024 now!
P.S. The never ending battle between Michael Chandler and Dustin Poirier wages on….
10-9 Poirier
