Bully Heart - Northwestern's Brooks Barnhizer Gets His Teeth Knocked Out, Surgery And Refuses To Miss A Game Because He's 'Gotta Be Out There With The Guys'

I know people don't think of Northwestern for basketball or bullies or grit. But this is what happens when you have a Brooks Barnhizer out there. The man has a bully heart, he's all grit baby. You lose a couple teeth, go get surgery and then you come out and drop 20 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks and 3 steals against Georgia Tech. Teeth aren't that important anyways. Everyone seems to have fake teeth these days, just go get some new chompers and get Northwestern in the hunt in the Big 10, that's what ultimately matters. 

I love that he said he had to be out there with the guys. Ultimate locker room man right there. Guy just wants to play basketball and hang out with the fellas. That's the beauty of college basketball right there. Too many people want to complain about NIL, if someone at Northwestern was smart, Brooks Barnhizer would have an NIL deal for teeth right this second. That's how you build a program with your best players in this era. 

Incredible mustache too, goes perfect with the voice. Again, I know Northwestern doesn't come to mind with all this stuff, but they are good. Chris Collins has actually turned them into a regular Tournament team. If Barnhizer stops losing chiclets and can stay healthy they'll be right in the mix for another bid.
