In Marshon Lattimore's Debut He Took 53 Snaps, Held His WRs To 0 Targets For 0 Receptions And 0 Yards ๐Ÿ”’

That's called winning the trade. I don't care who the Saints draft with the 3rd, 4th, and 6th round picks we sent for him, they won't be better than 2 and a half seasons of Marshon Lattimore at CB1. If he's locking down his half of the field in his Commanders debut, still rusty coming off injury, there's no doubt in my mind this trade was a steal. Top tier CBs are so hard to come by. Nearly impossible. If you can go from Benjamin St-Juste to Marshon Lattimore for a few draft picks, plus have 2 entire more season of Lattimore under contract, those 3 picks are virtually meaningless.ย

Besidesย the bullshit refs and almost losing the game, there were a lot of positives to it as well. Jayden once again had his pin-point accuracy, threading needles and throwing darts to the tune of 17/19 and 2 TDs in the first half. Terry was on the receiving end of those 2 TDs, proving once again the Jayden to Terry connection cannot be stopped.

ย

Jayden had a weird game- his first half was phenomenal, his 2nd half fell off a bit, and he was on the receiving end of 8 sacks, although a lot of the sacks were for 1 or 2 yard losses. I was very impressed with his game overall, as there Oline was bad, he is down to only Terry at WR, Wentz got hurt early (and what's up with Sinnot?), and the running game was non-existent. We lose this game without Jayden playing as great as he did. I wish he didn't take the sacks, but honestly, there's no WR on this team who can get open besides Terry. There was never anything downfield besides Terry. And Kliff...he did not call a great 2nd half game. Was a bit disappointing. But on the other hand, if one of these deep shots to Terry connects, we are praising Kliff for his shot-taking.

ย

We are now 9-5, which is insane. I don't care the strength of schedule is weak- you gotta win games in the NFL, no matter who you play. Being 9-5 in the first year of a rebuild is so awesome, even if some bad things happen, it's hard for me to find negatives. 3 more regular season games and the playoffs are in our hands. It's a good day to be a Commanders fan. HTTC.
