Assault: Doug Gottlieb Dared To Question Adam Schefter's Report, Schefter Reminds Him Green Bay Is In Last Place In The Horizon And On A 7-Game Losing Streak

This seems like a somewhat normal Schefter tweet in the grand scheme of things, right? A random report about Mike Vick having interest in being the head coach at Sacramento State with a bunch of numbers involved. Cool, I mean, we all know Mike Vick. I have no idea if it'll happen or work out, but that's not the point of this blog. You see what this tweet led to was a media/coach fight. A media/media fight perhaps. Just depends on the hour of the day for Doug Gottlieb, because he responded with this: 

Right to the agent line. Doug doesn't have time in his December to argue anything else, he's jam packed: 

However, Adam Schefter does not follow that calendar. This is a man who will break news right after sex (allegedly). So he saw Doug's tweet and decided enough was enough:

SCHEFTY BOMB. You think you can just insult his sources? Absolutely not. And if you do, you better not be the head coach of a 2-10 Green Bay team in year 1. Adam Schefter will waste no time bringing up the standings and noticing the losing streak. I don't know when Schefter got this defensive but Doug Gottlieb just learned his lesson here. Now you can't keep losing, Schter is gonna be locked in the Horizon League all year just waiting to strike. That man lives on his phone and won't miss a chance to make another comment. The stay off social media is a great dig, exactly what I expect out of Schefter.
