Wild Brawl Breaks Out At O'Hare Airport Involving Wet Floor Signs
NY Post- Cleanup in Terminal 3!
A group of travelers and one employee threw punches, grabbed hair and whacked each other with “Wet Floor” signs in a wild, caught-on-camera brawl reminiscent of a WWE match inside Chicago O’Hare International Airport last week.
Insane video shared on social media of the Dec. 12 melee shows three men — including an employee in a blue shirt — seemingly teaming up against one man in a white T-shirt inside American Airlines Terminal Three.
The men punch each other and use the yellow floor signs as weapons, smacking each other in the head and body as the sound of the plastic slapping echoed through the terminal, the footage shows.
As the three gang up on the man in the white shirt, he knocks one to the floor and yanks several dreadlocks off another’s head, according to two videos taken from different angles.
I've written all about the airports and airplanes and the absolute nightmares that go on everyday. They are a WWF Royal Rumble meets a museum. Which I know is a weird comparison but it always feels like that is how it goes with those two extremes. At times literally no one is speaking to each other and trying to avoid each other at all times, and at times it's a full on brawl. It's an insane dynamic.
Regarding this fight, I can't get enough of this one. Normally we see haymakers and fistacuffs etc, but to add in wet floor signs bumps it up to the notch we need. To have the absolute disregard for a wet floor which could make you fall during a fight is one thing, but to not only disregard human safety and decided instead of moving away from that area but instead grab a sign and bash someone over the head is just perfect. And that is something that can only happen at an airport. Only at an aiport can one person work up such a rage to bash another person over the head with a sign and that is why airports remain one of the best places on earth. You never know what you are going to get.
