Micah Parsons, Bad Teammate, Is Rooting Against The Cowboys Making The Playoffs Because "Fuck Philly"

The ultimate goal of every NFL team is to win the Super Bowl every year. This may not have been a "Super Bowl or bust" type of year for the Cowboys heading into the season, but they had aspirations of at least making a run for it. Every time Micah Parsons steps out onto a football field while wearing that Cowboys helmet, he's getting paid millions of dollars to help the Cowboys try to accomplish that goal.

But in order to win a Super Bowl, the first thing you need to do is make the playoffs. Even though the Cowboys suck an exorbitant amount of ass this year, there's still a path for them to make the playoffs. It's a path that has maybe less than a 1% chance of working. But the path is still there regardless. Part of what needs to happen in order for the Cowboys to make the playoffs is for them to win out, and for the Commanders to lose to the Eagles this weekend.

What does Micah Parsons think about that scenario?

"It's fuck Philly, now. Even if we got eliminated" - Micah Parsons, an absolutely atrocious teammate.

EVEN IF WE GOT ELIMINATED.

This man is going to allow his own "hatred" of the Eagles to make him root against his own team making the playoffs. It's insanity. Micah Parsons is about to ask Jerry Jones for close to $40 million per year, and he's literally rooting against his own team making the playoffs. And it's not because he actually hates the Eagles. It's just because he's always dreamt about playing in Philly, sees the Eagles already have the best defense in football without him, realizes there's no hope of the Eagles ever being interested in bringing him here, and is now saltier than those handful of fries at the bottom of the bag.

EVEN IF WE GOT ELIMINATED.

I just can't believe that came out of a professional athlete's mouth. Out of all the ways he could have possibly phrased that, he said the quiet part out loud. All these years later and Micah Parsons is still wildly more concerned about the Eagles than he is about his own team. I'm sure that's the same mentality that all the greats had…
