Tom Holland Turned Into Spider-Man In Real Life And Broke Up A Fight In A Grocery Store Recently

Tom Holland did an interview with Mens Health Magazine that has plenty of quotes making the rounds this morning, the funniest of which (in my opinion) being the above, where Tom mentioned recently stopping a fight in a grocery store. He says that when he stepped in, one of the guys was clearly still mad - but recognized Holland and had a wheels-turning moment realizing that fucking Spider-Man was telling him to calm down.

Imagine that? You somehow get fired up enough to throw hands with someone in the chips and salsa section of a Stop & Shop (insane place to get into a public altercation btw) and, again, MOTHERFUCKING SPIDER-MAN turns the corner to break things up? I'd like to imagine he threw on the trepidatious Queens accent to really diffuse the situation as well.

"I don't feel so good about this fight, sir! We can talk it out!"

It weirdly reminds me of Hulk Hogan saving that woman from a car wreck last year....

Seeing celebrities in situations like that must feel like the weirdest fever dream ever.

Holland's also getting the love and admiration of every woman in the world for this quote about not taking any attention away from Zendaya on red carpets....

….which is very nice, but he sorta un-did all that good will when he said James Cameron's 'AVATAR' is his favorite movie of all time.

Obviously I'm not the biggest Cameron fan out there (I love his old movies but think he's an absolute pretentious prick now) but I could admit 'Avatar' is a pretty great flick. I enjoyed it a lot when it came out. I just can't imagine calling it your favorite movie OF ALL TIME!!!

P.S. If you haven't seen it - Tom Holland's dad is a stand up comedian who has some pretty funny jokes about which child is his favorite….
