Don't You Dare Call Buffalo A 'City Of Losers' Around Sean McDermott, Entire Stadium Mocked Some Baltimore Radio Guy Who Did Such A Thing
This apparently is a long feud between Jerry Coleman - some radio guy in Baltimore - and Bills Mafia. He called them the city of losers before and then brought it up again this week. Probably thinks he's hilarious or the first person to call Buffalo a city of losers? At what point do you qualify as a city of winners? I say this because I'm a diehard Orioles fan, spent the majority of my life growing up 45 minutes north of Baltimore, that ain't a city of winning. I'd kill someone (fuck you, Jeffrey Maier) just to see the Orioles in a World Series. He's out here bringing up the Sabres and the Bills constantly losing in the playoffs and 4 Super Bowl losses.
Naturally the Bills responded like this before the game:
Then you had Sean McDermott ticked off!
Boom, roasted. I don't know, man. I don't think you can watch the Ravens over the last decade and call anyone a choke artist or city of losers. The whole narrative with the Ravens is they can't win in the playoffs now. First it was Lamar choking (he did have 2 awful turnovers), then it was no weapons and now it's Mark Andrews. Team of losers, perhaps? This isn't like the Ravens are constantly losing to the Chiefs in heartbreaking fashion. They have lost to the Titans, Chiefs, Bills, basically anyone.
Everyone knows the Bills have dogshit luck. I still thank them for Scott Norwood and giving the Giants another Super Bowl. But you can run down the list of shit that happened to them in the playoffs, that's why Andrews dropping that pass was more shocking. Things like that don't happen to the Bills. The Music City Miracle happens to the Bills. That said, nothing warms my heart like seeing a city come together and make fun of someone else. A true defining moment of Buffalo.
