Eagles Fans Are Truly Out Of Their Minds, Now Purchasing Authenticated Jars of Snow From The Field During NFC Divisional Game
Okay before we even get started on how ridiculous it is, let me just say the Eagles made a grave mistake here on making that packaging look so delicious. This looks like something I'd want to break into at 2:30 in the morning with nothing else but a spoon. Can't sleep, walk downstairs to the kitchen, open up the freezer, take out the bucket of Linc Snow, and just annihilate that sucker until you feel completely disgusted with yourself. All you'd really need is a flavored syrup to make some of the most delicious snow cones you ever had.
I've never really been a "memorabilia" type of fan. I've never been the type of fan who loves to fill their home with little trinkets and shit like that to demonstrate their fandom. The idea of catching a foul ball to bring home has never done anything for me. I'm not going to frame a ticket from a big game. I get the idea of it being a nice way to commemorate a moment and represent a memory. But it's just not for me.
So the idea of purchasing a tub of authenticated snow from the field during the Eagles 28-22 win over the Rams in the NFC Divisional Game is so far removed from my brain that it seems like pure, unhinged lunacy to me. Which is exactly why a team like the Commanders needs to be absolutely shitting themselves right now at the fact that they need to come to Philadelphia to play for the NFC Championship this Sunday.
Sure, they've had to play in Philly every single year. But those have been regular season games. They've never had to come into the belly of the beast for an NFC Championship Game before. This is a fanbase that is so rabid that they're spending their hard-earned dollars on a bucket of snow they now have to keep in their freezer for the rest of their lives.
I mean, I get it. It was beautiful. The win, the weather, everything besides maybe that safety. But the fact that jars of that snow are now sold out just goes to show how rabid this fanbase is right now. Nobody in this city is thinking with their brain anymore, we're just powered solely by Go Birds energy. The Linc is going to be the biggest mad house in America on Sunday.
