The City of Philadelphia Will Never Be Able To Recover After Commanders Fans Took Over *checks notes* The Hard Rock Cafe

I'll cut the Washington Redskins Football Team Commanders fans a little bit of slack here. They literally have no idea what they're doing, because the majority of them have never been here before. 30+ years since the last time they were in the NFC Championship Game. They've never had to travel to Philly for a playoff game. They have quite literally never been in this position before, so it's like watching a baby take steps for the first time. It's cute, but holy fuck do they suck at it.

Imagine standing up in a room full of your peers giving a speech like you just stormed the beaches of Normandy...all because you made a few reservations at a Hard Rock Cafe that the majority of people in Philadelphia forgot even existed in the first place. I legitimately don't think anybody from Philly has ever stepped foot in that Hard Rock before. No offense to Hard Rock Cafe or anything. The giant guitar outside of the building is sweet. But I can't imagine that place has ever had more than 7 people eating there at the same time. If anything, they may have saved the Philly Hard Rock from closing.

It would be like if a foreign nation came over to "conquer" America and they took over Des Moines, Iowa.

The good news is that it's fun to finally get a chance to hate Washington fans. As someone born in 1992, all I've ever known was irrelevancy to come out of Landover. There was never any hatred towards Washington fans, but more so just feeling sorry for them. I still feel sorry for them in the sense that they think taking over a chain restaurant for tourists of a city who don't have enough curiosity to check out any actual local establishments is anything to be proud of. But credit where credit is due, Washingotn fans have been as hateable as anybody this week. An entire fanbase filled with Nates. Yuck.

Anyway, Go Birds.
