Another Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl Appearance Comes With Another Patrick Mahomes Stat That Will Blow Your Mind

Since 2001, there have been 125 drives in the 4th Quarter with under 1 min and the offense trailing by 7 points or fewer. 

Of the 125 drives, only 40% were successful.

Brady was 5/11 in those situations (46%), Brees was 3/6 (50%).

Patrick Mahomes is a perfect 7 for 7.

I felt I had to write this out just to fully understand how insane it is. I know the internet right now is about 50% Mahomes suckfest, and 50% that the Chiefs get all the calls. I also understand it's got to be brutal for Bills fans right now, and I don't want to pile on with more Mahomes stats to make them feel worse, especially after the Bills traded away the pick that could have been theirs but this stat floored me. 

Listen we all know how amazing Mahomes is but to put it in perspective like this of how fucking clutch he is, is remarkable. I can't get over it. A minute is a small amount of time on the clock, yet it doesn't matter how much time he has ... he's going to score. Shit he had 13 seconds and scored for Pete's sake. 

Seven for Seven! He's never missed. The guy might be a fucking alien for all we know. I can't get over it. How do you stop him? It's under a minute, it's not like he has that much time, yet he cannot be stopped. I'm astounded and what defenses are supposed to do to stop him. Your guess is as good as mine ... 

By the way, I have a strong feeling it will come down to under a minute and the ball in Mahomes hands to tie or win the game in this coming Super Bowl and we all know how that will end. 8 for 8. The man is unstoppable. 

Final note- Just as I submitted this, this stat popped up on my timeline. He's literally NAILS with the game on the line.
