Everyone Thinks Shedeur Sanders Is Getting Drafted By The Giants Simply Because He Said He'll Be 'Playing Against The Cowboys VERY Soon'
And we made it, we made it to the NFL Draft rumor part of the schedule. Sure, it makes sense, you had the Shrine Bowl and we're in that blank period with the week off until the Super Bowl. So you get all these mock drafts, people starting to believe every rumor and dig into everything. That was the case last night with Shedeur Sanders dropping this quote. Seems pretty innocent on the surface of it all, he's in Dallas, saying he'll be playing the Cowboys there soon.
Oh no. Nothing can be said without digging. Not when you're a top prospect in the NFL Draft. As everyone pointed out, basically copy and pasted every tweet, the Browns, Raiders and Titans don't play in Dallas next year. The only team that does in the top of the draft who needs quarterback is the Giants. Naturally that means he's going to the Giants. Not the first time we heard these rumors:
I know as a Giants fan I should be outraged or elated when it comes to something like this. Quite frankly, I don't give a shit. That's what the Giants have done to me. Shedeur Sanders might be awesome, but I don't trust a soul to be successful with the Giants the way John Mara is operating. An offensive line going to show up out of nowhere? I don't think so. Not to mention we have people keep talking about Matthew Stafford playing for the Giants. I love Stafford, but again, what offensive line? That said, I'd love to see him just launch fastballs to Malik Nabers.
This is just the start of NFL Draft rumors. Some fans think the Giants should take Hunter if he's there or someone like Abdul Carter or any other piece to keep building around before you get a quarterback. I just want to see a team compete. Baby steps because we're going on a decade of being dogshit.
