Pornstar Emily Willis Left Permanently Disabled And Unable To Move Or Speak After Suffering Cardiac Arrest At A Rehab Facility - Her Family Is Now Suing For Everything

This is a really sad story that I've been following in hopes it turns for the better. Unfortunately the opposite keeps happening. Last year a very popular porn star Emily Willis entered a rehab facility to battle her ketamine addiction a little while ago. While there she suffered cardiac arrest and went into a coma. She's now been left permanently disabled, in a semi-conscious state where she can't move or speak. It's a fate you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. Her family is now suing the facility for everything, saying if they acted sooner they could have prevented all of this. 

(Yahoo) Emily Willis, a 25-year-old former adult film star, has been left permanently disabled following a catastrophic medical emergency at a luxury rehabilitation center in Malibu, California.

Willis, whose legal name is Litzy Lara Benuelos, suffered severe brain damage after experiencing a cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment for ketamine addiction at Summit Malibu.

Now her family is going on the offensive and suing the facility for everything. 

Her family has now filed a lawsuit against the facility, alleging medical negligence, inadequate supervision, and delayed emergency intervention, which they claim led to her irreversible condition.

According to the lawsuit, she had been consuming between five and six grams of ketamine per day for approximately a year. This heavy usage had reportedly taken a serious toll on her physical and mental health, leading her to seek professional treatment. Upon arrival at the facility, Willis was in a fragile state, exhibiting symptoms including bladder inflammation, depression, anxiety, PTSD, night terrors, and anorexia nervosa.

Her family alleges that staff members did not take her condition seriously and neglected to provide proper monitoring or escalate her care when it became evident that she was in distress.

On February 3rd, an emergency call was reportedly made for Willis, yet she was not transported to a hospital. Her condition continued to worsen until, approximately 26 hours later, she was found unresponsive in her room.

The porn industry continues to uncover some really sad truths about what's really going on. Kagney Linn Karter, Jesse Jane, Sophia Leone all gone in a few year's time. Those are the big ones, with lesser known names likely joining that unfortunate list. I can't imagine the mental health aspect of porn is a good place to be in. There are way too many of these stories going around. The saddest might be Willis though. She is now a prison inside her own body for the rest of her life, all starting with a ketamine addiction. The easy answer is to not do drugs obviously, but she clearly got to a very low place and felt there was no other way out. Just terrible. She was a star in the industry having won countless AVN awards, including 2021's Female Performer of the Year. 

Emily Willis was a MONSTER in the game. Now her life is essentially over in her mid 20s. I can't imagine what the family is going through. Hopefully they're able to get some answers through this lawsuit and eventually come out with some peace.
