Family Business: Richard Pitino Is Making Fun Of His Dad For Pleading With Kentucky Fans To Be Nice To John Calipari

Today is the day. Today is the day that we had scheduled since John Calipari left for Arkansas and then the schedule came out. This whole week has been people talking about Kentucky fans booing vs a standing ovation. People trying to tell us what to do who have no connection at all to the school. One of them who does is Rick Pitino, who put out the most bizarre college basketball video I can remember. Saying he's not friends with John Calipari, but wants a standing ovation. I still think he's trying to play double agent here knowing it'll only rile Kentucky fans up more and help Mark Pope.

Perfect tweet. He knows how weird that video is. Rick Pitino is the head coach of a team fighting to win the Big East! That won't stop him from talking about Kentucky or showing up to Kentucky. I respect it, but still hilarious. Richard Pitino is coaching a good team, a team that can win an NCAA Tournament game. He's gotta go to Utah State, awesome home place by the way. Where's the help asking him not to get booed? Utah State fans will boo Richard Pitino. How about a little help for his own blood?
