Browns Fans Tried To Organize A Protest At The Stadium Tonight, But No One Showed Up

So obviously the story of the day is that Myles Garrett requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns. I blogged my thoughts earlier, but to summarize, here's where I'm at:

- I wish he'd stay, but I can't blame him. At all. He has no connections to northeast Ohio other than we were the worst team in the league when he entered the draft, so we took him. And he's been both a great player and great supporter of Cleveland. So how can I blame him for wanting to go somewhere where he can win? Or at least lose in better weather?

- The Deshaun Watson trade simply fucked us. Cost us 3 first round picks on the surface, but it's now cost us the prime of Myles Garrett's career, among other things, too.

Anyways, the point of this blog is that I saw on the internet earlier today that a fan was trying to organize a walkout at the Browns stadium tonight to protest Andrew Berry. I think the sentiment is that if Andrew Berry is fired, Myles Garrett might want to stay? Regardless, fast forward to tonight and I'm grocery shopping and Hubbs goes, yo have you seen this? Probably worth a blog. No issues...I head home and get on the internet to find that a grand total of......two....people showed up tonight.

My understanding is that news cameras did show up....but just no people. I should've expected that when I saw the creator of the event retweet this guy, asking for 1K likes, and he got a whopping 181.

Kudos to you, Browns fans, for not indulging. The 0-16 parade was funny. This is, in early February, pretty dumb. Myles Garrett wants out and while our organization is clearly a dumpster fire, let's not give the national media any more fuel to throw on it.
