American Woman Refuses To Leave Pakistan After She Was Ghosted By Her 19-Year-Old Online Pakistani Boyfriend
We have an absolutely outrageous development from Pakistan, a place I never thought I'd make a TikTok on.
Onijah Robinson went to Pakistan to meet her online boyfriend in October. She was then ghosted by him and his entire family. No, really, the entire family got up and left from where they were living:
Robinson, whose tourist visa has now expired, was left with nowhere to stay. She went to Memon’s home in the Garden area, only to find it locked and the family had vacated the property, The Express Tribune reported.
Following this, Robinson staged a sit-in outside the house and took shelter in the building’s parking area. Her actions caught the attention of locals and made headlines across the country.
Thanks to this, she has now garnered a lot of attention from Pakistan media, which has led to her going viral on TikTok and other social media platforms:
Onijah is now asking for land and tens of thousands of dollars from the Pakistan government in order to "rebuild" the country:
In my video linked at the top of this blog I go into more detail over the entire situation, which has taken the internet by storm. No idea how this will end (I assume deportation), but we will keep an eye on it until then. Updates to come.
If there is anyone who has any connections in Pakistan, please reach out to them and see if this has crossed their desk. I am wondering if it is a country wide story, or just in the city of Karachi. I would LOVE to know how the people are reacting to this, do they love her or hate her? Because it is unclear.
