Any Philly Fan Who Thinks Any Less of Jason Kelce Because of His Reaction the the Super Bowl is a Moron, a Dipshit, and a Loser
Icon Sportswire. Getty Images.I don't want to spend too much time on this topic because 1) the Eagles are Super Bowl Champions and we have a parade to get ready for on Friday, and 2) because these mutants really don't deserve anybody's attention.
Obviously with how much spotlight has been thrusted onto the Kelce family, Super Bowl LIX was going to be an overly dramatized event. I'm in the camp that thinks we've probably put too much spotlight on the Kelce's, but celebrity culture in this country is out of control. Especially when you're already dealing with two of the most unhinged fanbases on the planet with Eagles fans and Taylor Swift fans.
Super Bowl LVII was already awkward enough for the Kelce family with both brothers playing in the game. But now that Jason is retired, Super Bowl LIX would be even more awkward for him. I think anyone with at least a quarter of a functional brain could understand how Jason Kelce would be immensely proud and excited for either team to win, and immensely sad and disappointed for either team to lose. On one hand you have the organization you spent your entire career with, have won a championship with, and have plenty of guys on that roster who you would consider part of your family. On the other hand, you have your literal brother. Again, anybody with a quarter of a functioning brain would get this.
But there are billions of people on this planet. Which means there are at least a few million people who are absolute fucking morons. Which means there are at least a few thousand people who have enough worms crawling around in their brain that they'd see Super Bowl LIX wrap up and their immediate thought is "I wonder what Jason Kelce has to say about this". Which means there are probably at least a few dozen who would go as far as to be mad about the way he reacted and/or lack of reaction towards the Eagles winning their 2nd Lombardi.
Now here's the thing--you'll notice that the majority of these posts are coming from anonymous troll accounts. And you'd think to yourself that a guy like Jason Kelce shouldn't concern himself with whatever anonymous trolls online have to say. But he's still fairly new to the internet/media world, and he's always been revered as a hero in Philadelphia. So I'm sure all of this is pretty new to him, and he hasn't had a ton of practice in dealing with any backlash. So clearly this has all been weighing on him since Sunday.
Now obviously there's another side to this whole ordeal as well. I'm sure you have the Swifties who are mad at Jason Kelce because he congratulated the Eagles for winning. I don't care about that side of it because Swifties are goddamn psychopaths who are mentally incapable of having any rational thoughts on life outside of sucking Taylor Swift's dick any chance they get. So that side of it is whatever to me.
But supposed "Eagles fans" turning their back on this guy now because he wasn't jumping up and down in the family suite with his shirt off because the Eagles won the Super Bowl? Get a fucking grip. You're not edgy. You're just a brain dead dipshit who is either obsessed with being a contrarian, or legitimately the dumbest human on Earth. Give your balls a tug and get lost.
