Disgusting: Wisconsin With One Of The Worst Choke Jobs In College Hoops This Year

This isn't me trying to diminish Oregon and the comeback, this is just one of the worst choke jobs in college basketball this year. Wisconsin, at home, up 15, a chance to stay alive in the Big 10 title race, seeding for the NCAA Tournament, all of that and they shit it away. That's the only other way to describe what Wisconsin did. They shit down their pants on national TV. There's no reason for that to happen, not at home. Not when you have John Tonje, a guy who is going to be probably a 2nd team All-American. 

Probably important to note this isn't the Wisconsin we're used to. They don't play slow, they aren't offensively challenged or run the swing. It's an actual fun offense to watch. They play fast even, at least by Wisconsin standards. There's absolutely no reason to ever step off the gas when you have Tonje and Blackwell out there. 

I know weird losses happen in college basketball. I get that. This doesn't fall into that category for me. If Oregon came out and blitzed them early, sure, I'd listen to that argument. This is a collapse. Badgers were up 64-50 with 6:15 to go and scored 2 points the rest of the way of regulation. Again, credit to Oregon for the win, but this is a collapse.
