The Next Mid-Major Powerhouse: Master P Has Been Named President Of Basketball Operations At University Of New Orleans

Oh hell yes, this is what a mid-major team should do. Master P is synonymous with New Orleans, the man loves basketball, get the two together and I have no choice but to believe this will be a perfect marriage. We live in a world where teams are hiring GM's for college teams, UNC is hiring a whole front office: 

Why not hire Master P to be President of Basketball Operations? I have no idea what the job entails, nor does it really matter. You now have Master P around the New Orleans program. Remember, Master P said this: 

First step, win the Southland Conference. Next step, move on to the Pelicans. His sons have played college ball, one of them is currently on Houston. It only makes sense to get Master P involved with your program at this point. Other teams can go hire NBA agents, shoe agents, whatever for their front office roles, New Orleans hires Master P. That's a win. The whole point is for him to help raise NIL money, not let the program die. No better person to do this for New Orleans than Master P.
