The Newest Matthew Stafford Rumor Dominating The Combine: It's The Giants vs Tom Brady, Once Again

I've said my thoughts on why the Giants should trade for Matthew Stafford - as long as it's not a ridiculous price. I've said my thoughts on Matthew Stafford still being good. But now we have a new battle. A battle we're used to winning as Giants fans. It's us vs Tom Brady: 

Okay, makes sense. The Raiders don't have a quarterback, Tom Brady probably loves Matthew Stafford. I'm not going to say it's bullshit that he's with the Raiders and calling games. I'm above that when it comes to Matthew Stafford. Why? Because no one knows what the hell is happening with Vegas: 

Hmm conflicting reports there. I don't believe in coincidences though. It's fake. There's no shot Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford just so happened to end up at the same ski resort. Two rich quarterbacks would never be found in the same spot together. What I do know is the Giants interest is very real: 

There's simply too much noise for something not to be happening. But this is about our battle with Tom Brady. The Raiders want to bring out the cool, known-winner at quarterback? Fine. It's time for that loser John Mara to get out of the way and let the actual guys take care of it. These fellas

I don't care who we have to bring in, we have to beat Tom Brady again. You can't let Stafford go to the Raiders. Let them take Shedeur Sanders like everyone thought for the last few months. Stafford gives you the shot to win now, I want to care again. You don't have to mortgage the future for Stafford. Plus, he's far from washed. The dude was a play away from the NFC Title game. 

I fully admit I'm addicted to Stafford rumors at this point. This is what 6 years of Daniel Jones does to a man. This is what Dave Gettleman, Pat Shurmur, Ben McAdoo and Joe Judge does to a man. This is what being irrelevant for a decade does to any fan. Do not let Stafford's representation get out of Indianapolis without a plan.
