Chris "Mad Dog" Russo Continues To Be The Best: Mixes Up Elevation Heights And Hates The F Word In Movies
If you are unfamiliar with Chris "Mad Dog" Russo, he's just the damn best. A pioneer in sports talk radio and an all time lunatic. His intro to his show was legendary on WFAN.
Being old enough to listen to Mike and The Mad Dog as a kid and then into college was truly special. The fights, the going over ratings from the weekend, the Super Bowl trivia, the voices, the yelling at callers ... everything was amazing. A show that can never be replicated, and to this day is still idolized by everyone who listened to it.
Anyway, since he's left WFAN, Russo has been doing a ton of TV and became famous for his clips, tangents, and takes on a variety of things in the world. Like hating Christmas, to doing gummies.
He's the damn best because he speaks with such confidence about things and is dead wrong. If you've ever heard him try to pronounce names it's a wild ride. So when I heard this, I was cracking up. The way he confidently says "72,000 square feet" is just perfect. A truly outlandish statement. You have to know Mad Dog to truly appreciate it. Just as funny as it gets. Pure stupidity.
The hatred for the F word to me is just him becoming a grouchy old man, which I feel like he's been forever but it's gotten worse down the stretch. His rants on topics in the world in that voice makes them that much better. Only Mad Dog could be perturbed by the F word in movies and make you laugh about it. The best in the business.
Play us out with his stupidest question of all time …
