The Dream Is Dead: Matthew Stafford Is Going Back To The Rams, The Giants Are Now Interested In Aaron Rodgers

Fuck this. 

That's it. That's the blog. I wanted nothing more than Matthew Stafford, Giants quarterback. He was the guy. I believe fully in Matthew Stafford because he's awesome at quarterback. But, no, he decides to play for the Rams. Oh just because you won a Super Bowl there and was a play away from hosting the NFC Title game means you stay there? Be more boring. 

I don't care about what this means for the Rams or how the Raiders failed. I'm a Giants fan. Let me clarify, I'm a broken Giants fan. I've been stuck watching Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, Tommy DeVito at quarterback for 6 years. I just want to watch someone good at quarterback again. Let's check in on that

Good. Great. Grand. Fucking wonderful. Let's bring in the guy who has been a lunatic, tore his Achilles (not that there's anything wrong with that) and had roughly 2.5 decent games with the Jets. I'm sure he'd love to help tutor whatever young quarterback comes in to the Giants. I don't want anything to do with Aaron Rodgers. Does that mean we have to bring in all of his friends too? I'll take Randall Cobb, I love Randall Cobb. Maybe he can come help coach or something. 

Actually you know what? Let me believe in something. Aaron Rodgers for a year and help land Arch Manning next year. That's the dream. Stafford said no, the dream was always Arch Manning. This is the beauty of being a broken fan, I can dream about whatever I want since the Giants will always be in position for the No. 1 pick until we win a pointless game late. This is where we are with the Giants. Have a little bit of hope before it all goes to hell.
