The Newest Rumor To Find The Giants Savior - A 'Likely' Trade Up To No. 1 Overall, Draft Cam Ward

So this is what it's like to be on a hunt for a quarterback? Granted, it's been some years because for whatever reason we spent 6 years just running out Daniel Jones. Now every day we seem to have some sort of rumor. There was the Stafford trade, which was a real thing, shockingly fell apart for the Giants. Can't believe we didn't catch a break. Things have been going so well lately, just assumed we'd get the awesome quarterback. 

Now it's trade up to number 1 overall to draft Cam Ward. Awesome. There's just no way this works out correctly for the Giants. I don't care if Cam Ward is awesome, any Giants fan knows how this ends. Terribly. This is why you don't beat the Colts in a meaningless game. Every year the Giants do something stupid late in the year to drop a few spots in the Draft and we find ourselves in this position. You can think Cam Ward is the savior, now we gotta pay to get him instead of just losing. 

Oh and it doesn't stop there: 

Jordan also throws out Darnold, Russ Wilson and yes, even Kirk Cousins. Love the spot we're in. Just nothing to get excited about no matter what happens. Sure, see what happens with Cam Ward. But you're likely signing an Aaron Rodgers to have Ward not play for a year. Not sure how this solved the offensive line, cornerback, half of defense or anything else. That's why it all sucks.
