It's Sad To See How Pathetic Patriots Fans Have Become In Trying To Convince Themselves There's A Chance AJ Brown Will End Up In New England

The New England Patriots, and their fanbase, are what we would refer to as "new poor". They went through 20 years of never having to worry about what it's like being a completely irrelevant organization in the NFL. There are some Patriots fans who are currently dealing with that irrelevancy for the first time in their life. Older, more experienced fans, are still out of practice. They don't know how to act when nobody gives a shit about them. They don't understand how to operate when nobody even considers the Patriots to be a threat.
All of this is so foreign to them, that they somehow have convinced themselves that AJ Brown is already a member of the Patriots and that they're just waiting on the formality of a trade to be announced.
At first I figured this was some sort of a bit. One of those jokes like "AJ Brown to the Patriots for Kendrick Bourne. Who says no?". When the punchline of the joke is that quite literally everyone besides the Patriots would say no. But upon further examination, it would appear that these dipshits legitimately think there's a chance the Eagles would trade AJ Brown to the Patriots.
Why? Because he played for their new head coach before? Because he was reading a book on the sideline?
This is how you know that Patriots fans are so disgustingly attached from reality. This is how you know New England would have no idea how to handle a guy like AJ Brown. Everyone wants to assume that he's disgruntled because he's a wide receiver, and everyone always just assumes all wide receivers are a bunch of overly emotional divas. AJ Brown is not disgruntled. For starters, he's a fucking champion and there's nothing to be disgruntled over about that.
AJ Brown a competitor. Sometimes competitors get frustrated when they feel like they're not hitting the standard that they've set for themselves. Sometimes getting frustrated and working through that frustration is the only way to breakthrough and grow together as a team. AJ Brown being frustrated sometimes on the sideline doesn't mean that he's looking to get out of Philadelphia. It just shows how much he cares about being great while playing for a city that he calls home.
All AJ Brown cares about is winning, and being great. Two things that he can undoubtedly continue to do while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. You think he wants to go play for some shit dick 4-13 Patriots team just because he played for the head coach before? To an organization who isn't going to treat him nearly as well as the Eagles treat their guys, to play on a team that has legitimately no shot of contending for a championship any time soon?
Again, it just goes to show how foreign this concept of being irrelevant is to New England Patriots fans and their media. Nobody gives a shit about the Patriots, and nobody wants to play there. Especially not one of the best receivers on the planet who has a chance to go out there and win multiple rings with the Eagles.
