Redemption: High School Kid Hits Buzzer Beater In State Semis Just One Year After The Refs Robbed Him Of One Against The Same Team In The Same Game

Sports is amazing. It really is. So for reference you need to know that these two teams .. Camden and Manasquan met in the state semifinals last year, and maybe the most controversial ending of all time sent home Manasquan. It was an abomination. 

Well just one year later these same two teams met and the game came down to the wire and low and behold ... THE SAME KID who had his shot waived off hit a clinching bucket to advance to the Finals. This is just awesome, you almost feel like God was looking down saying ... "I got you kid" and made the wrongs of last year right. Just an absolutely awesome moment for the kid and I hope they cut down the nets. 

However, I couldn't help but think about how great this moment is for this kid, but how much better it would have been had they just got the call right last year. Think of how great this year's story is, and hopefully it gets even better when they cut down the nets, but imagine in 10-20 years when he's telling the stories of his playing days and he could have said he hit TWO game winners in the semifinals to send them to State. Just a brutal break for the kid overall as he should have had two great moments, but I am happy he got his one big moment. Justice is served.
