You Will Be Shocked To Learn Georgia WR Nitro Tuggle Has Been Arrested for Speeding and Reckless Driving

Well this was only a matter of time. You can't put a kid named Nitro in the Georgia locker room and expect him to make it longer than a year without a reckless driving arrest.

It's truly incredible what Kirby Smart has going on in Athens. These guys are putting up historic driving arrest numbers with seemingly no end in sight. Georgia has enough money to have a personal driver for every player if it really wanted to, but I guess it's cheaper to just keep turning them loose to rack up misdemeanors.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported last summer that UGA football players had been involved in 24 driving incidents since just January 2023, when a wreck killed offensive lineman Devin Willock and staffer Chandler LeCroy. I don't know how many more have happened since then, but let's just call it an even 30.

I hope they figure something out down there to get this problem under control, but Nitro Tuggle getting caught up in the speeding ring the Dawgs are running was inevitable. Maybe UGA's basketball team will win an NCAA Tournament game for the first time since 2002 today to take some of the heat off the football program's off-season hobby.
