"Man, You A Hoe" - Draymond Green Finally Opened Up About What Went On Between Him And Karl-Anthony Towns

About two weeks ago, the Warriors were in NYC during one of their East Coast road trips for a showdown with the Knicks. It was a pretty big game for both sides given where each is in the standings for their respective conferences, and anytime Steph comes to MSG it's a big deal.
Unfortunately, KAT had to miss that game and at the time, it was reported for personal reasons. That was really the only detail we had going into that game. Soon after, it was reported that KAT missed the game to attend the funeral of a family friend. A pretty normal thing for anyone to do. Did that stop Draymond Green from doing Draymond Green things? Of course not
By this time it was pretty well known as to what the reason for KAT's absence was, which makes that Draymond take pretty weird. Of course, that's how narratives start, because guess what happened once the talking head shows caught wind of it?
Gee, and people wonder why players think there's a problem with NBA media? Why might that be I wonder???
Anyway, that all set the stage for their rematch last week, this time with the Knicks out in the Bay to face Draymond. I think we all were excited to see how KAT would respond, and to his credit, he more than did his part. A solid 29/12/3 in his 30 minutes, unfortunately, he didn't exactly get the help he needed,d and the Knicks lost by 3. With KAT immediately storming off the court it was a little weird to see all his teammates go be buddy/buddy with Draymond after the game, but that's a different topic for a different day.
Now a week later, Draymond has decided to shed some light on how that back and forth went with KAT
Mind you, Draymond never really apologized for what he said a few weeks prior, because why would he? This is Draymond Green we're talking about. He's never done anything wrong ever, according to himself. This clip sort of tells you how his brain works, as it seems like in a way, he's prideful and taking credit for KAT playing hard?
Almost like KAT shouldn't be mad at him, but instead thanking him for bringing out a more aggressive side of KAT as a player. I have to admit, that's some next-level spinzone. Just think of the order of events that took place
1. KAT misses a game for personal reasons
2. Draymond goes on his show and says it's because he's afraid of Jimmy Butler, despite it being reported he attended a funeral
3. Media picks up that story and runs with it
4. Draymond never apologizes
5. Draymond takes credit for bringing out the DOG in KAT
That's a little insane to everyone else right? In another Draymond classic, even in that clip what's the overall theme? That KAT is a bitch. That he's soft blah blah blah. You certainly didn't hear any remorse, but he sure as shit didn't hesitate to take credit for his game and then double down and continue to call him soft. Aside from the fact that this was over a week ago and there's no real need to keep talking about this, I can't say I'm surprised that this is Draymond's stance.
Unfortunately, it will take a bit of a prayer on both sides for these two to meet back up again in an NBA Finals, so it does feel like the next round of this beef will have to wait until next season. At best, we may get a passive-aggressive tweet from KAT if the Warriors get bounced from the playoffs early or something and if Draymond is the reason why, but at the same time KAT and the Knicks have enough to worry about on their own plate. It's still not set in stone they even keep the 3 seed, as things have been a bit of a struggle without Jalen Brunson in the lineup.
