Some Things: Mount St. Mary's Coach And His Son In Tears At The Podium Talking About How Awesome It Is To Be Part Of The NCAA Tournament

I know we spend a lot of time talking about the major programs, the schools everyone knows. But this right here? This is truly what the NCAA Tournament is all about. You have Mount Saint Mary's coach and his son crying at the podium talking about how awesome it is to be a part of the event. Not even just that, Mount Saint Mary's was the 6 seed in the MAAC Tournament. They had to make a run, won its first two games at the MAAC Tournament by a combined 6 points before beating Iona in the title game.

Then they were shipped to Dayton to play American. Win that, get back on the road and get ready to play Duke (with Cooper Flagg). This right here is the dream though. These small majors are part of the story. Their March starts in the conference tournaments and that's why you see these guys go crazy when they win. They get a shot. That's all they want. That's how we end up with UMBC, Hampton, Northwestern State, Norfolk State, Lehigh and for some reason can't think of the examples of 15/16 seeds getting wins.

So shout out this whole scene. Donny Lind's son was shown a bit and is around the team basically all the time. Some things, man. Some things.
