Philly Morning News Anchor Mike Jerrick Has The Strongest Stream In The Industry

I feel like there are 2 default settings for grandpas. You have the kind-hearted, loving grandfather who teaches you how to be a man, and the type of character you aspire to emulate and live up to the rest of your life. And then you have the dirty grandpa. The one who rotates the same 6-9 jokes time and time again, slaps the waitress on the ass on her way back to the kitchen, and really gets to do or say whatever he wants because "that's just grandpa being grandpa".

For the longest time, Jim Gardner was Philadelphia's grandfather. And that would make Mike Jerrick Philly's dirty grandpa. Nobody in the city of Philadelphia plays their role with as much consistency as Mike Jerrick. Morning after morning, this man is on your television on Good Day Philadelphia, and he's going to do something that would probably get him fired if he were 20-25 years younger. He knows he has the green light to do or say whatever he wants because he's Mike Jerrick, and he goes full throttle. Never once has this man thought about touching that brake pedal.

That's what makes him the best in the biz. If he sees an opportunity to make a giant water main break look like it's coming out of his dick, he's going to take that opportunity 100 times out of 100. Zero hesitation, no questions asked. And the thing is that everybody else on that set knows that Mike Jerrick is going to make it look like he's pissing, so he knows he needs to bring something a little extra. You can't get stale and predictable out there. So he goes ahead and turns around to use the water main as a bidet. YOU CAN'T TEACH THAT.

That's a man who elevates his game when the moment gets bigger. When the lights are the brightest, that's when Mike Jerrick's game clutches up and thrives. That's one trait that all the GOATs have in common.
