Steven Cheah's 2025 NFL Mock Draft 3.0

The NFL Combine is complete and we're firmly in the NFL off-season. The rumors are flying and I've got a new mock draft for you. For reference, here is: 1.0, 2.0
1) Tennessee Titans - QB Cam Ward (Miami)
The Titans have a ton of needs. I don't personally love going Cam Ward here at #1 because they're far from just a QB away. Ward is a versatile piece with a big arm and elite athleticism. He's improved every program he's been with so the Titans are hoping they're next.
2) Cleveland Browns - EDGE Abdul Carter (Penn State)
Coming off a 12.0 sack season, Carter is the top pass rusher in the Draft. At 6'3" 250 lbs. he's got solid size and elite get-off and motor. A potential foot surgery has clouded his status for training camp, but the hope is that he's Micah Parsons 2.0.
3) New York Giants - QB Shedeur Sanders (Colorado)
The Giants want a QB and this is the one they covet. And I fully believe Shedeur is a guy. I am very high on him. In fact, he's my top QB in the class. His mental processing and willingness to stay in the pocket and take a hit while delivering a strike isn't easy to find. A clip recently surfaced of Shedeur basically telling our guy Gillie that he was going to the G-Men.
4) New England Patriots - WR/CB Travis Hunter (Colorado)
The Patriots need playmakers. Having Drake Maye throw to the likes of Demario Douglas, JaLynn Polk, and Kayshon Boutte is gross. Hunter can play both sides, but with Christian Gonzalez being a certified stud, there is more of a need for Hunter on offense, but don't rule him out to go both ways as the Heisman winner can truly do it all.
5) Jacksonville Jaguars - OT/OG Armand Membou (Missouri)
With Liam Coen at the helm, they're going to want a good O-Line to be able to run the football. The Bucs went from 31st in the NFL in rushing to 4th last year and have a very good O-Line. The Jags were 26th in the NFL in rushing in 2024. Coen's arrival will boost that, but they need guys to open up holes Membou has been rising up draft boards after clocking in at 6'4" 332 lbs. with 33 1/2" inch arms at the combine. He's got the size and power to play OT or kick inside to Guard.
6) Las Vegas Raiders - WR Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona)
New GM John Spytek comes from Tampa. New minority owner Tom Brady led the Bucs to a Super Bowl with a big 6'5" #1 WR. They know how valuable a big WR who can run routes and also make catches in traffic is with Mike Evans, who ironically was Bucs GM Jason Licht's first ever draft pick. Spytek follows in his footsteps here with the 6'4 219 lbs. pass catcher.
7) New York Jets - OT/OG Will Campbell (LSU)
With Justin Fields at Quarterback, they Jets are moving to a run-first offense and Campbell would be just the guy to help jumpstart that. He played OT in college but arm length could cause him to slide inside to Guard.
8) Carolina Panthers - DT Mason Graham (Michigan)
The Panthers give up 184 total yards/game to opposing Runningbacks. That is league worst by about 30 yards. It's not a sexy pick, but Graham can help plug up those gaps and has the versatility to be a pass rush threat too.
9) New Orleans Saints - QB Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss)
Mintzy's wet dream comes true as his NFL team draft's one of his college team's starting Quarterback. Dart's stock has been on the rise and it seems like he's firmly in the 1st Round. Quarterbacks always are going to go higher than they should due to the positional value. Just look at Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix both going top 12 last year. Because of that and the need the Saints have long term at the position, Dart's stock gets pushed up and he goes top 10.
10) Chicago Bears - RB Ashton Jeanty (Boise State)
The Bears have been making moves on the Offensive Line acquiring Jonah Jackson and Joe Thuney via trades. That frees them up to spend their premium draft capital on the Heisman runner up. He'd definitely be an upgrade over D'Andre Swift on offense and can take some pressure off of Caleb Williams.
11) San Francisco 49ers - TE Tyler Warren (Penn State)
Ok here me out. George Kittle is awesome, but he's turning 32 early in the season. Tyler Warren is the best Tight End prospect since people thought Kyle Pitts was any good. But he can block too! With Deebo Samuel gone and Brandon Aiyuk coming back from an ACL, they good go more 12 personnel and rock two Tight Ends more often. Think about it! I don't hate this match!
12) Dallas Cowboys - EDGE Jalon Walker (Georgia)
Walker is an interesting prospect because he's an EDGE guy with some ability to drop and cover. Not that different from Micah Parsons. The Cowboys can pair him with #11 at #12 overall here.
13) Miami Dolphins - OT Kelvin Banks Sr. (Texas)
Protecting Tua Tagovailoa is the top priority and Miami needs help in the trenches. Banks can step in right away and help keep #1 healthy.
14) Indianapolis Colts - S Nick Emmanwori (South Carolina)
Emmanwori was the talk of the Combine and with numbers like these, you can't argue as to why. Colts GM Chris Ballard is a huge traits guy and the Colts also have a glaring need at Safety. This pick makes way too much sense.
15) Atlanta Falcons - Mykel Williams (Georgia)
Williams had a fairly disappointing season, but still had a career-high 5.0 sacks after 4.5 in each of his first two seasons. At 6'5" 260 lbs. with 34 3/8" inch arms, those guys go high. Williams is versatile and can rush outside or kick inside on 3rd downs. The Falcons need guys to get after the Quarterback and stop the run and Williams has the potential to do both at a high level.
16) Arizona Cardinals - EDGE James Pearce (Tennessee)
Pearce is an explosive athlete but needs a bit more meat on his bones. At 6'5" 245 lbs. he's tall and lanky, but his get-off and speed (4.47 40-yard dash) could thrive indoors in Arizona.
17) Cincinnati Bengals - CB Jahdae Barron (Texas)
Barron is a different type of Corner. He has good size for a CB at 5'11" 200 lbs. and more importantly, had 5 INTs and 11 passes defensed last year for the Longhorns. He can play in the slot or outside.
18) Seattle Seahawks - WR Matthew Golden (Texas)
Sam Darnold has got Jaxon Smith-Njigba to throw to, but with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett both gone, they still need more weapons. Golden's stock has been on the rise after a 4.29 40-yard dash at the Combine.
19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - LB Jihaad Campbell (Alabama)
The Buccaneers need some help at Linebacker. Lavonte David turned 35 this year and even though he will be back for his 14th season, they don't have much outside of him. SirVocea Dennis is a good player but unproven and coming off an injury. Campbell is a perfect fit in a Todd Bowles defense as he's a do it all Linebacker who is also an exceptional blitzer. I would LOVE this pick at #19. His potential foot surgery makes him available there.
20) Denver Broncos - TE Colston Loveland (Michigan)
The Broncos really don't have a go-to Tight End for Bo Nix and Loveland, at 6'5" 245 lbs. can provide a big target over the middle for Sean Payton's 2nd year signal caller.
21) Pittsburgh Steelers - CB Will Johnson (Michigan)
Joey Porter Jr. has been up and down and Donte Jackson is already gone after one season in Pittsburgh. Will Johnson wasn't as good in 2024 as he was in 2023, but the Steelers get him at #21 before he's gobbled up by his old coach at #22.
22) Los Angeles Chargers - EDGE Mike Green (Marshall)
Joey Bosa is in Buffalo and while Khalil Mack is back, Green is just the type of hard nosed, chip on your shoulder player Jim Harbaugh loves at a position of need.
23) Green Bay Packers - CB Maxwell Hairston (Kentucky)
Jaire Alexander has been the subject of trade discussions and the Hairston is a climber post-Combine after he blazed a 4.28 40-yard dash.
24) Minnesota Vikings - EDGE Shemar Stewart (Texas A&M)
Stewart doesn't have a ton of production (4.5 total sacks in three seasons), but a 6'5" 267 lbs. (rumors are he played closer to 290 lbs.) he is a massive EDGE rusher. He can help shore up their run defense, which is a big point of emphasis playing in a division with Detroit and Green Bay. But developing more of a pass rush plan he has sky high potential if he can put it all together.
25) Houston Texans - OG Tyler Booker (Alabama)
CJ Stroud experienced a big time sophomore slump and while a lot of that was injuries to Tank Dell and Stefon Diggs. The Offensive Line was the biggest issue. Laremy Tunsil is now gone and Booker can inject some youth and talent at the Guard position.
26) Los Angeles Rams - Donovan Jackson OG (Ohio State)
The Rams need to continue to develop their Offensive Line and Rob Havenstein is entering year 33 of life. At 6'5" 310 lbs. They also just traded a starting Guard, Jonah Jackson to the Bears, so Donovan Jackson could slide right in and help protect their aging signal caller. Based on Matthew Stafford's age, don't be surprised if this is a Jaxson Dart spot if he slips to the back half of the 1st Round.
27) Baltimore Ravens - RB Omarion Hampton (North Carolina)
Derrick Henry was fantastic in his first season with the Ravens, but he also just turned 31. Hampton could take some of his workload and keep Justice Hill as a 3rd down back while they keep King Henry fresh for the stretch run while also being the heir apparent in the backfield.
28) Detroit Lions - EDGE Donovan Ezeiruaku (Boston College)
With Aidan Hutchinson missing most of the season, it became clear that the Lions weakness was pass rush. Ezeiruaku is coming off a 16.5 sack season for Boston College and could help be a force opposite Hutchinson.
29) Washington Commanders - OG Grey Zabel (North Dakota State)
The Commanders need to help protect Jayden Daniels better and their best Offensive Lineman, Sam Cosmi will likely miss most of next season. They did just trade for Laremy Tunsil, but they need more than one addition to a subpar OL. At 6'6" 312 lbs. but with 32" inch arms he'll likely have to kick inside to Guard but could slide right into Cosmi's Right Guard spot to start.
30) Buffalo Bills - DT Walter Nolen (Ole Miss)
Joey Bosa was a great addition in the off-season, but inside, they need help next to Ed Oliver. Nolen can rotate in and help rush the passer with 10.5 sacks over the past two seasons.
31) Kansas City Chiefs - S Malakai Starks (Georgia)
The Chiefs are ok with their weapons on offense but they need some help on the back end. Starks is an alpha in the secondary and can help shore up their pass D and run D.
32) Philadelphia Eagles - CB Benjamin Morrison (Notre Dame)
Morrison is a lights out Corner, but he missed most of the season with a hip injury he sustained in early October. Had it not been for that injury, he'd be long gone before #32, but he should be ready to start the season and the Eagles get a Darius Slay replacement at #32.
That's all for NFL Mock Draft 3.0. Thanks for reading!
