Harvey Weinstein Sticks Up For Justin Baldoni, Comparing The "Cherry Picked" New York Times Article To His Own Takedown

Harvey Weinsein is calling out the New York Times. 

Amid Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s ongoing legal dispute, the disgraced Hollywood executive—who is in custody at Rikers Island as he awaits retrial for his New York sexual assault and rape case—reflected on his own 2017 exposé by the newspaper and its role in breaking the #MeToo workplace harassment movement in the late 2010s. 

While reflecting on his own legal battle, he applauded the It Ends With Us director for filing a $250 million defamation case against the newspaper. 

“Watching Justin Baldoni take legal action against The New York Times and its reporters—accusing them of manipulating communications and ignoring evidence that countered Ms. Lively’s claims—hit me hard,” Weinstein told E! News in a statement. “It brought back everything I experienced when The Times reported on me in 2017.”

And Weinstein—whose decades of alleged sexual assault was detailed in dueling exposés by The New Yorker and the New York Times—added, “They did the same thing: cherry-picked what fit their story and ignored critical context and facts that could have challenged the narrative.”

Well, there you have it folks! Case closed! Harvey Weinstein has weighed in! Justin Baldoni must be overjoyed to have a powerhouse like Harvey on his side. Nothing like the world's most famous rapist having your back when you're accused of being a creep!!

I haven't blogged about the Blake/Justin case at all because truthfully, it gets me too heated. I am HEAVILY on Blake's side and I think anyone who falls for Justin's grift is braindead. Will I change my tune next year when we finally see the actual trial? Maybe, but as of now, I've never been more sure of something in my life - and now that Harvey Weinstein has given his stamp of approval for Justin, I'm feeling better than ever. 

You've got to think the Baldoni machine is cooking up a HUGE plan to bury this endorsement. Quick!!! Call Blake Lively gross again!!! Call her a monster! Say she burps and farts on set! Say she's a bitch to kids!! QUICK!!!!!! 

Separately - Harvey is still alive? I feel like the Grinch, "that guy is still living?" Shocking, really. Not only that he hasn't killed himself in jail, but the fact that the guilt and shame hasn't eaten him alive is an impressive amount of narcissism. He really feels like he needs to continue to haunt the halls of this earth? Bleh. Gross. He and Justin can both rot, IMO.
