AHL Player Picks Up A 10-Game Suspension After Launching The Shit Out Of Ref Into Boards

"Ohhhh SHIT".

That's right, brother. You said it. That poor zebra got launched into orbit. Poor fella went flying faster than a plastic bag on a windy day. It was borderline cartoonish how hard he went into the boards.

Tough scene for ol' Adam Beckman here. You know the former 3rd round pick in the 2019 Draft didn't necessarily mean to attempted homicide the ref. Down 4-1 in the game, you feel like the ref gets in your way of winning a puck battle in the corner, you get frustrated so you give him a little shove to get out of the way. Next thing you know, it looks like he just got picked up and tossed by a tornado into the boards. Just an immediate "oh shit" moment as there's ever been. You can immediately see him reach his arm out in regret once he realizes he just obliterated the shit out of the ref.

Adam Beckman is a big boy from Saskatoon. Sometimes those Sasky Boys don't know their own strength. But that argument won't hold up in a court of law, and the AHL still has to hand down a lengthy suspension regardless of if he actually tried to kill that ref or not.

Sidenote #1: The Bridgeport Islanders are 15-46 on the season. Maybe having to miss the final few games of the year isn't the worst punishment ever.

Sidenote #2: Hope the ref is fine. Pretty sure he is.
