Good Reminder From The Best In The World: Scottie Scheffler Shoots A 7-Under Today, Still Claims 'Golf Is Hard'

Let me be very clear that I know there's a difference between Scottie Scheffler and us. But, this is the best in the world saying this sport is hard. No shit. I don't care that he went out and shot a 7-under at RBC Heritage today. It's the hardest sport in the world, no matter how much I love it. No matter how many times you play, you can never be consistent. That goes especially for me and you, guys who go out there and play a couple times a week. Some days you feel good with the driver, some days you're slicing everything. It doesn't make sense until that one glorious round you put it all together and shoot a few under your normal round.

Those are the days that you need to remember.

It's also hard to say it when Justin Thomas went out and did this:

I don't understand the people who say golf is relaxing. I have friends who say they go on the golf course to relax. Yeah, I mean, it's a nice break from chasing kids around and the regular mayhem around a house. But it's not relaxing if you're competitive. You're trying to beat yourself, the course and those you're playing against. It's the most frustrating thing in the world. Again, I bring up the Robin Williams bit:

There will never be a better way to describe golf than that skit. So if it's hard for Scottie, get ready to be pissed off night one in your league as that all starts up this time of the year.
