'Be Careful' - Pete Carroll, John Spytek And The Raiders Did Everything Possible To Make It Sound Like They Are Drafting Ashton Jeanty At No. 6

I don't know if it's because of the lack of quarterbacks or people just constantly talking about this class being whatever, it feels like the Draft has lost some juice this year. I keep forgetting it's like 5 days away and the team I torture myself with has a top-3 pick. I say all that because now you have Ashton Jeanty and what to do with drafting him. I've seen mocks where the Bears go up and get him, mocks where he falls a little bit, people calling him the best player in the Draft and then the most obvious one.

I mean look at who the Raiders have. You have Pete Carroll, a man who wants to run the ball (unless the Super Bowl is on the line). You have John Spytek, who is a Michigan guy. You have Chip Kelly as the offensive coordinator. It's all set up to have options and you need a running back like Jeanty there. I'm not a huge Geno Smith fan, but Jeanty, Bowers and Myers is a decent starting point. You still need wide receiver help, you still need depth there, but it's better than what we're used to seeing with the Raiders. 

I know people could say 'smokescreen' which is true this time of the year with the Draft, but also what people just yell when they don't want to believe something. The Raiders make sense to draft Jeanty. You don't have 90% of mock drafts having this happen for no reason, sometimes picks just make sense and this is one of them. Smart to say be careful though, can't risk getting penalized for talking about him or say too much.
