My Daily Rundown - Tuesday April 29th - Belichick's Girlfriend Found A Way To Somehow Make Things Worse, An Epstein Whistleblower Got Epstein'd, ESPN Is Already Fanning The Giannis To Lakers Flames, The Eagles Loved Ivanka Trump, And Is Nicky Smokes Out Of Touch, Or Just Young And Dumb?
Here's my daily rundown for Tuesday April 29th.
TOPIC #1 - BELICHICK'S GIRLFRIEND FOUND A WAY TO SOMEHOW MAKE THINGS WORSE
I'm officially declaring DEFCON 5. We need to pull out all the stops to break this little affair up. It's not cute anymore. It's creepy. And if this was happening to your grandfather, and not the greatest coach in the history of football, you'd be calling the authorities and reporting elder abuse.
P.s.- For a guy who wants to wear Belichick's skin, how did Jerry not call out there being 0.00001% chance that email was actually written by Belichick?
She has access to his email. Runs his social media accounts. Is licensing trademarks under his name (more on this tomorrow), inserting herself on the fucking practice field, instructing all school administrators and the AD to copy her on all communications with Bill. This is bananaland. The definition of it.
TOPIC #2 - EPSTEIN WHISTLEBLOWER GOT EPSTEINED
I really don't know what to think or believe anymore.
It's really sad that she is leaving behind 3 children. I know she lived a tortured life, and had demons haunting her that most of us would never wish upon our worst enemy, but I still can't see a mom turning her back on her children like that.
There are some theories floating around out there that this was perhaps her way of "disappearing", or going into witness protection. Which may sum up a how the authorities botched this whole thing so much. But it doesn't explain why her lawyer would be clueless and calling everybody out.
I don't know. I don't know what to think or believe when it comes to this stuff anymore. I just know it's beyond disgusting and insane that we still are being lied to and having our government protect these vile people involved.
TOPIC #3 - THE MEDIA IS ALREADY SPINNING THE GIANNIS TO THE LAKERS NARRATIVE
Facts:
- Barring a miracle, the Bucks have now choked and been eliminated in the 1st round of the playoffs three years in row.
- Giannis got a taste of championship a few years ago, and wants another one. More importantly, he deserves another one.
- It doesn't look like Milwaukee is going to acquire the parts for him to do that. So cue the trade rumors.
- Reports are also starting to trickle out that the Lakers might be interested in shopping Luka while his value is still relatively high. (This is the second playoff series in a row where he looks like a fat out of shape slob and is disappearing in crunch time.)
- Lebron is a menace who gets carte blanche from the league and is allowed to meddle and tamper with anybody he wants. Because he's Lebron. The only entity close to as big as Lebron who gets away with what he does is ESPN. ESPN loves nothing more than to fan the flames and create stories that aren't there. True Wag the Dog bullshit. They have a vested interest in the NBA, its ratings, and its longevity once Lebron moves on. LA is its largest market. Do the math.
TOPIC #4 - EAGLES RB LOVED MEETING IVANKA TRUMP
My only question is did Eli discuss this with Trump? Because it's a subject he also agrees.
TOPIC #5 - IS NICKY SMOKES OUT OF TOUCH, OR JUST YOUNG AND DUMB?
I'm not sure I've ever read a more out of touch blog about the opposite sex on the website in my life. And if you've been around here for a while, you know that that is saying A LOT.
OR, is Nicky just still so young he's in that weird (and dangerous) I think I know everything there is to know, especially about women, but I'm actually just so naive I haven't the faintest clue?
I'm going to stick my neck out on this one, and think that I speak for 99% of guys when I say that yes Nicky, yes making us wait does actually change things.
For starters, it earns respect.
Not so much earns it, rather it doesn't cause a guy to lose all respect. Which usually happens when a girl puts out on the first night.
Not speaking for the Bill Belichicks of the world here, but nobody wants to call the girl they took home drunk from the bar and fucked wifey, and they definitely don't want to take them home to mom.
Are there exceptions?
Yes of course.
(I have a buddy who turned a one night stand the year after we graduated college into a long and happy marriage. He has 4 beautiful kids and she's arguably the coolest, best mom, and best wife out of any of our friend group. We thought he was doomed back when it all happened, but couldn't have been more wrong.)
But for the most part, maybe it's old age and too much life experience speaking here, yes, making men wait does change things.
