'Borderline Unplayable' - There Needs To Be Even More US Opens At Oakmont After Hearing Golfers Talk About How Brutal It Was Late During The Final Round

I know Oakmont is one of the anchor sites for the US Open, but waiting until 2033 for the next US Open there is far too long. I want it every 5 years at a minimum. That's how much I love watching the US Open at Oakmont. We heard about it all week, it's the toughest course in America and that's what this tournament should be. It should be guys feeling like they got in a fight like Denny McCarthy explained. It should be guys like Si Woo Kim saying he has no idea what he's doing out there:

I want people talking about how golf courses are back

Obviously we had the downpour yesterday with the weather delay and then the rain again late. That led to the Sam Burns saga:

Or how we got Tyrrell Hatton explaining how he got bad luck and then got a little feisty with a reporter

The fact is we see tournaments all year where guys are shooting like -17. Oakmont guarantees that won't happen, rain or not. That's why I want there to be more US Opens there because it's just different than anything else we see. I know they have it all mapped out and there are basically no openings to host a US Open on the schedule, but we need to mix it up even more. I want mayhem and chaos once a year, Oakmont is the best for that.
