Waiting In A Long Line That Moves Super Fast Is A Better Feeling Than Getting No Line
I went to the Brewers game yesterday and there was a thing where kids can run the bases after the game. I was with my wife and kids and this sounded great. We went to line up during the 9th inning of a close game and the line wrapped around over 50% of the field. From the 1st base line which was the entrance, we were left waiting in left center field.
My mind immediately went to how long we'd be on line. This seemed destined to be an hour plus, but much to my surprise, the line moved fast. Super fast. Light speed almost for parents with kids. We made it on the field in about 10-12 minutes and were basically walking the whole time. It was incredible. It was a great moment not only to see the kids run the bases, but to get through that long line in warped speed.
Big Cat agreed that waiting in a long line that moves super fast is better than no line citing that you earn it. I whole heartedly agree.
