Grit: Diontae Johnson Refused Come Into A Game Last Year While On The Ravens Because He Felt Too Cold And Didn't Want Bad Film On Tape

I felt like I had to search this story no less than 100 times to make sure it was real. It's very real. It's also one of the funniest things I've ever read. Dude just refused to play because he was cold and didn't want bad stuff on tape? I never want to hear football players aren't soft. This is softer than any flop, any injury concern, anything. 41 degrees isn't ice cold! Sure, you can argue it's cold, it's not like people are going to pretend it's warm, but there are numerous games every year in that sort of weather. 

Good thing he signed with Cleveland. It's never cold up there. Basically the Miami of northeast Ohio if you think about it. They have a body of water, they have a football team that doesn't win, LeBron played for both cities. It's more and more true the deeper you dig. 

That said, it's a fucking hilarious response to 'we need you.' Just a no because you're worried about film! Pretty sure this story is going to end up worse than missing a block or dropping a pass. I get that you're checked out, whatever, fake an injury. Everyone knows that's how you get out of something, not saying you're cold. Tell them you rolled an ankle or heard a pop in your leg. Do anything besides admit you're cold on the sidelines. 

I can't believe he admitted it too. There are a million ways around this, first of all making sure it's not cold in Cleveland, where you just signed. Good news is he just wants everyone to move on. I'm sure that will happen now.
