Angels Rookie Christian Moore Hit a Game-Tying and Walk-Off Home Run While Also Putting Together a Game Nobody Else in Baseball History Ever Has

Christian Moore had the growing pains you would expect of an MLB rookie in his first 11 career games, hitting just .156 entering the Angels' contest against the Red Sox on Tuesday night. And for his troubles, he got to face Garrett Crochet in his first two at-bats, which predictably led to two strikeouts.

Then the Red Sox bullpen took over and Moore did something nobody else in Major League history has managed to do.

Moore homered off Greg Weissert in the 8th inning to tie the game 1-1 before coming up in the 10th and launching a two-run, walk-off homer against Justin Wilson. Moore is the only player to ever hit a game-tying home run and a walk-off home run with his team trailing while also driving in all of his team's runs.

I have no doubt in my mind CMo is going to be a stud in the big leagues. He needed a few games to get used to the best pitchers in the world and now he'll just go back to doing what he does, which is rip the cover off the baseball while also playing outstanding defense.

I just wish he didn't have to play for the Angels.
