Getting Ragdolled And Thrown Into A Pond Is The Only Appropriate Punishment For Slow Play On A Golf Course
I don't know when this video came out or any of the details nor do I care. I know for sure this is filmed in Canada, you don't get those accents plus a dude yelling 'bang' after every punch without some minor league hockey experience north of the border.
UPDATE: I've been told by Grinnelli this is former NHL'er Nick Tarnasky. Little lesson here, if you see a guy who you might think played in the NHL and was willing to fight on skates, maybe just let them play through. In fact you apologize and be the forecaddie for the hole.
But this is more about who is right and wrong in this video. The guy getting punched in the face and tossed into a pond is clearly in the wrong.
There is nothing and I mean nothing worse than slow golf. It should be punishable by law and if we can't get it to that point, we should have this fella tossing dudes into ponds out there as course enforcers. Give me someone who will stand up for the rest of us and take care of business. You can fire the warning shots, you can pull up on the tee box to kind of nudge them along, too many people suck on the course and don't know how to pick up the pace. We need everyone to understand that you aren't getting home in 2, stop waiting for the green to clear on a par 5. You don't hit the ball 260, you hit it 210, maybe 215 on a rope. You have no idea how aimpoint works, just find your line and putt the ball, you're going to miss.
That's where this guy comes in.
This is a man who won't take any shit. He'll throw your ass in a pond if you charge at him. He'll throw a man like Uncle Phil and DJ Jazzy Jeff if he has to.
He'll laugh and throw his catchphrase bang out as he punches you around. I don't understand how you fight on a golf course, but this is one I actually stand with the guy winning the fight. Pick up the ball and let's go to the next hole.
PS: Incredible editing with the Bulls intro for the fight. Every fight needs a soundtrack.
