'Oh, You Fat Fuck' - Have No Choice But To Respect Charles Barkley Hurling Insults At Himself On The Course After Skulling A Wedge

There's really nothing similar between athletes/famous people and us, the normals. Golf is the one equalizer, to a degree at least. We're not playing courses that these guys are playing, we don't get the coaching and everything like that. But what we can do is see a shot like this from Charles Barkley and immediately think of the last one we hit. Skulling a wedge, degrading yourself, that's right out the playbook we run here. You can't get mad at anyone else on the golf course, it's you vs the course. You hit a bad shot, you have to blame yourself which is why 'you fat fuck' plays perfectly here. 

I've said it before but it's hilarious how people view Charles Barkley in 2025. The guy is one of the best basketball players in the history of the sport. He went toe-to-toe with MJ in a Finals and somehow it feels like most people just think of him as the goofy guy on Inside the NBA. I know the whole no ring thing is a running joke from Shaq, but he really went from all-time player to beloved by everyone (sans San Antonio). 

This is one of those reasons why. He doesn't take himself too serious and if he hits a bad shot you degrade yourself and get ready to likely chunk the next one when overcompensating. He'll always have that hole out eagle though: 

The most frustrating sport in the world. It can humble elite athletes, mediocre accountants and everyone else between the two. Can't wait to play it again!
