The WNBA All Stars Showed Up To Warmups Wearing "Pay Us What You Owe Us" Shirts
So last night was the WNBA All Star game and the players decided to take a stand amidst the CBA discussions with some "pay us what you owe us" t-shirts. What I will say is that the t-shirts clearly did their job considering it was all the headlines in what was a largely boring game that felt like the NBA counterpart of just zero defense and no CC due to injury. Detractors will tell you that the WNBA lost $40 million last year:
