Nobody Has Ever Been More Wrong Than Phil Mickelson - Claimed Scottie Wouldn't Win A Tournament In 2025

I know Phil Mickelson starts this tweet with 'here's a hot take' but that doesn't matter. Everyone says something now and tries to make hot takes, it rarely works out well. In fact I'd say we need to completely retire the phrase 'hot take' because people don't know what it means anymore. Same goes for rent free or anything like that. Basically if you disagree with someone you just yell hot take or rent free and get mad about it. 

The funniest part might be that this is in reply to Phil calling Niemann the number 1 golfer in the world 

Nobody loves having a bunch of talk about him, people saying he's a sleeper at a major and then completely shitting than bed quite like Joaquin Niemann does that. Anyways, this isn't about Niemann, this about Scottie and Phil. Typically it wouldn't be insane to say a golfer wouldn't win in the year. It's fucking hard to win a golf tournament, weird things happen, whatever it might be. But we're talking about Scottie Scheffler here, let's see how his year has gone so far: 

Perfect. 4 wins, 16-for-16 on top-25s and a couple majors. Yeah, that'll do, especially when we still have a handful of tournaments before the Ryder Cup. Scottie could add one or two more wins if he wants to. He's going to be PGA Player of the Year, don't know how you give it to anyone else besides him. 

People get shit wrong all the time, that's not a big deal. Very few will be as wrong as this where you have players being like yeah Scottie is unfair
