The Best Catch You'll See All Year Already Happened, And It Was At The Flag Football Championships
NFL training camps are getting underway this week. Across the league, you have hundreds of wide receivers trying to make an NFL roster. You have all these guys who are working as hard as they possibly can for the next 7 months to be able to make that one massive catch. Maybe it's a catch that allows them to make a roster. A catch that wins the game for their team. A catch that defines their career.
All we know is that not a single one of them will make a catch better than the one that Brysen Wright made at the 2025 NFL Flag Football Championships.
Apparently this kid is just 15-years-old. He's in the class of 2028, and has offers from a ton of big programs. But before he heads off to college, this kid should spend the summer heading into his freshman year at the 2028 Olympics in LA. Maybe all those flag football guys were actually onto something when they said Team USA doesn't need any NFL players on the roster to win gold at the Olympics. Watch that video again and tell me what other country would be able to stop a 15-year-old Brysen Wright right now.
The answer is none of them, and that's right now before he even has 3 more years to develop. You think Finland has anybody who can go up there for a jump ball against this kid? You think Denmark has anybody who can go up there for a jump ball against this kid? Maybe New Zealand has some big boys but they don't have anybody who can stick with him on a route. Tell Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase they can schedule some longer vacations in a few summers. USA Flag Football already has their WR1.
