Prepare Yourselves For An Incredibly Boring Eagles Training Camp Without Even An Ounce Of Drama Or Discontent

The Eagles' training camp opens up today and all you're going to see is a group of guys all singularly focused on accomplishing the same collective goal--which is to repeat as Super Bowl Champions. There aren't going to be any holdouts. There aren't going to be any spats in the media. No drama or intrigue or anything of that variety. Just a bunch of players and coaches going to work every day with the understanding and appreciation of the target that is now on their back heading into the season.

It's not fair, man. All the other teams get to have all the fun. Just look around the rest of the NFC East.

In Washington, you have Terry McLaurin being officially played on the Did Not Report list, and you have Trump threatening to make them change their name back to the R-words. In Dallas, you have Jerry Jones openly shitting on guys like Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons, and Trevon Diggs in the media. In New York, you have 3 new quarterbacks entering that room which is easily the funniest QB battle we've seen in quite some time.

There is so much going on with all the other teams in the division. Every single day of training camp is going to be a circus with all those teams. And what do the Philadelphia Eagles get?

Nothing, besides the occasional media member who is desperate for attention so they put out a new QB ranking list that has Jalen Hurts at 17.

As a fan of the football team hoping to see the Eagles defend their title, I am relieved to see such a functional and laser-focused organization. But as a blogger who would appreciate all the pageviews as possible heading into the NFL season, I am disgusted at the lack of drama heading into this Eagles' training camp. The news doesn't cover plane landings for a reason. People want chaos and carnage. Neither of which will be on display at the NovaCare Complex over these next few weeks.
