Giants Country, Let's Ride - Brian Daboll Wasted No Time Officially Naming Russell Wilson QB1 This Season, Keeps Hope Alive For The Future

No real surprise here, but it's still good to know we're using our brains. Look, no one is going to say Russ Wilson, Mr. Unlimited, is going to be the answer for this team winning games. It doesn't matter how many high knees we do in the middle of the airplane aisle. It's about building. It's about being competitive. This team was none of that over the last couple of years. More importantly it's about saving this guy

You throw Jaxson Dart out there in week 1 with Andrew Thomas still banged up and shit can go way too wrong. I'd like to have a little bit of hope, at least past the first half of week 1 where it died last year. Oh not to mention we have option B if Russ gets hurt early or just sucks. That's right, this guy. 

More importantly I need John Mara to see this and stay the fuck away. He keeps talking about firing guys and how they have to win this year. That's not true. I mean, yeah, I want to win, but I know this team still kinda sucks. It's about letting Daboll and Schoen finally play with their guy at QB. Let them build something and see if they suck without a roster that's complete trash. We're almost there, the defense should be good. Malik Nabers is awesome. Just don't be the complete joke, that's all we're looking for here.
