Welcome To The Titans: Nobody Has Ever Been As Honest As Cam Ward During Training Camp, Labeled His Offense As 'Very Mid Right Now'

I appreciate the honesty here from Cam Ward. We're at that time of training camp where everyone talks about turning the corner, playing well, the offense is clicking but the defense also shut down the offense. Everyone talking about playoffs and things like that. Not Cam Ward. Then again, can we be surprised? Dude is the No. 1 pick, of course the Titans stink.

But this is more than just that. The Titans as a whole are 'mid' or whatever word you want to use for the younger generation. They could be better. They should have better jerseys and things of that nature. They've had great talent, were a yard away from being Super Bowl champs, but they are just always kind of there. Then again that's just the AFC South. The Colts obviously had the Peyton Manning run, but other than that you can just go ahead and put the winner of this division in that first playoff game slot every year. They are made to play on Thursday Night Football, you have to almost force a rivalry feel to games in the division. 

I know people are shitting on Cam Ward for saying this, claiming it's something you shouldn't say. Fuck that. We need more  honesty like this from people in sports. If your offense is struggling and not there, call it mid or whatever word you prefer. I will say this, can we stop the 'nobody is talking about Cam Ward' narrative that's been out there. He got fucked on draft day because Mel Kiper wouldn't shut up about Shedeur, but if everyone is saying no one is talking about Cam Ward, you're just lying. People are talking about Cam Ward.
