TERRIFYING Video Of A "360 Degree" Carnival Ride Snapping In Half In Saudi Arabia That Injured 23 People But Somehow Avoided Killing Anyone
On July 31, 2025, the "360 Degrees" ride at Green Mountain Park in Taif, Saudi Arabia, snapped mid-operation, injuring 23 people (3 critically). No fatalities. Confirmed by NDTV, Hindustan Times, Khaleej Times, and other outlets.
Absolutely demented video coming to us from Saudi Arabia. Thankfully no one was killed, kinda surprising with how violently that ride snapped in half and bashed into itself. Truly some real life 'Final Destination' shit.
But to ease your mind a bit, that wasn't a person that flew through the air, apparently it was a shoe or piece of the ride?
I've never understood the urge to go on hastily wrenched together carnival rides. There's a big difference between heading out to The Topsfield Fair instead of Six Flags. Or wherever the hell this was in the Middle East. This guy gets it.
Granted I'm certainly not the demographic for thrill rides either. As I said in my 'Weapons' blog, I am a huge pussy. So whether it's scary movies or rollercoasters or zip lining through zip codes, you can count me OUT.
I'll stick to just making hot cocoa in the cabin!
Miss me with all this high rise adrenaline junkie shit.
Whew boy do those videos got my vertigo tinglin' like a motherfucker. Incredibly thankful I get to be writing words about carnival rides & crane operators instead of being inside of them. I wouldn't last a single day in that world.
Stay safe in your county fairs for the rest of this summer folks. And of course when in doubt, just remember what Austin Powers said. No, not the line about twins or Ms. Kensington.
