The Original Vine Video Archive Has Been Found And X Developers Are Working On Allowing You To Watch Old Vines

Listen, there was something so poetic about the Vine app. 7 seconds of pure genius, and you just move onto the next without a care in the world. Do I think it probably contributed to horrible attention spans and caused some irreversible damage amongst our youth? Probably, but that's a different story for a different day.

While TikTok fights with the government and attempts to sell, Elon decided it would be a good idea to bring back Vine, and looks like they finally got access to the archive. There's only one part of Vine that I actually care to access, because I'm not sure I'm too interested in old 7 second humor that I probably only found funny because I was like 16 at the time. And that is access to Dave's vine archive:

There's probably a billion on his profile that we just can't access until they make it public. Vine in hindsight was a perfect app for Dave considering zillionaires don't have more than 7 seconds of an attention span to give to you before they're onto doing something else. Anyway, Elon's ownership yields a couple good things every few years and this is going to be one of them. Release the archives!
